About the Author
Steven Heller is a leading authority on design education and the editor of the Education of series. The art director of the New York Times Book Review, he is also the chair of the graduate design program at the School of Visual Arts and the writer or editor of more than eighty books on graphic design. He lives in New York City.
Véronique Vienne is a creative director, marketing consultant, and author who has written extensively on design ethics and business practices. She has edited, art-directed and written for high-profile design magazines such as Communication Arts, Eye, Graphis, Interiors, Image, Metropolis, and Print. A consultant for clients such as Yves Saint Laurent, Desgrippes Gobé Group, and Express, she is an expert on issues surrounding corporate design, branding, and advertising. A faculty member of the School of Visual Arts design program, she teaches a course in design and social responsibility. The author lives in New York City. .
