About the Author
Joaquim Ballarin is on the faculty at the BAU School of Design in Barcelona, Spain and is the founder of Nassar Associats Arquitects and his own practice, Estudi ARCA, both of which specialize in residential architecture featuring wood as primary building material. Mariona Villavieja is a journalist who covers architecture for leading publications in Spain.
