Dark Horse's excellent reprint series of Little Lulu reproduces the adventures of Marjorie "Marge" Henderson Buell's character in 200-page black-and-white trade paperbacks. The fifth volume, Lulu in the Doghouse, reprints one of her 1940s appearances in Dell Comics followed by the first five issues of her own series, Marge's Little Lulu. The stories range from one to 20 pages each, and include Lulu and Tubby taking little Alvin to the beach, Lulu and Tubby climbing up the side of a building and getting lost in the woods, Lulu getting mistaken for a homeless child, Lulu's tales told to Alvin including "Alvin Baba and the 40 Thieves," and even some ghost stories. --David Horiuchi
