About the Author
Marian Henley's Maxine! appears in Funny Times, Comic Relief, Austin Chronicle, and other newspapers and magazines. Maxine has appeared on MTV, in a national Quaker Oat TV commercial, Ms, Glamour, New Age Journal, San Francisco Chronicle, Dallas Morning News, LA Weekly, and other publications. Ms. Henley's first book, Maxine!, was published in 1987. She lives in Austin, Texas, with herds of deer and three cats who easily pass for decorative pillows.
