About the Author
Daryl Talbot is a 1973 OSU art graduate and began his cowboy cartooning career with Western Horseman magazine in 1965 while serving with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam era. Later, Daryl won awards for his cartooning while serving as an illustrator in the U.S. Navy. Year after year the fans of Daryl's cowboy cartoons asked him to produce a book of his work. In 1993, he released his first collection in Cowboy Cartoons. A second book followed in 1994 with all new cowboy and cowgirl cartoons in Cowboy Cartoons, Too. A third collection results in More Cowboy Cartoons.
In April 1995 Daryl officially joined the Cowboy Cartoonist Internal, a professional organization of humorous western artists. He appears regularly with them in Las Vegas in December for the National Finals Rodeo and in Oklahoma City at the National Cowboy Hall of Fame.
