About the Author
Bob Grant is a member of the Austin-based trio the Bad Livers (who have recently signed a deal with Sugar Hill Records), and has also toured and recorded with Rounder recording artist Slaid Cleaves. He founded the Metropolitan Bluegrass Authority, an umbrella organization for bluegrass musicians, in New York City. When he's not touring with the Bad Livers, Bob lives in Manhattan where he plays with his band Drinkin' & Cheatin'. Bob is also a graduate of Boston's Berklee College of Music where he earned a B.F.A. in Film Score Composition; in addition, he is currently recording the soundtrack to the film, "The Newton Boys."
