Editorial Reviews
Book Description
1928. This little volume contains a grouping of a number of short musical pieces written by Johann Sebastian Bach. Bach wrote twenty-three complete suites for the harpsichord and besides these there are two fragmentary works in the form, one or two arranged from violin compositions, and various single movements, mostly allemandes and minuets. There are also two suites of doubtful authenticity which are found within.
