Book Description
It seems clear that the business world of today is no longer limited by national boundaries and that organizations need a global perspective if they are to survive and prosper in this international environment. Many organizations will succeed or fail on the basis of their ability to deal with this dynamic environment. The aim of this books is to help prepare students to function more effectively in a world made substantially more complex by teh shrinking globe.

Managing virtually any business in the 21st century presupposes international interactions. This is true for the small manufacturer who purchases foreign materials and employs immigrant workers; it is true for the large global organization that views the world as both its market and its source of supply; it is true for all the various organizations between these two ends of the structural spectrum.

Universities and colleges have been responding to the increasing global business environment by internationalizing their curricula. Many courses are now offered that deal not only with international business in general, but also with more specialized areas such as international marketing, international finance or international accounting.

This book provides a combination of content, format and style that will stimulate learning and interest in the complex and dynamic field of international business. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.
